Tree skirt?
We are finally putting up the tree today. I guess we had to wait for a little snow on the ground.
Confession-I have been sewing for about 40 years, NO JOKE! I have never made a christmas tree skirt. I always say I'll make one next year and never get around to it. I haven't come up with a good enough reason I guess. I have always just used fabric yardage that I wrap around the base of the tree. We cover it with presents anyway, what's the point? Maybe someday.

I made a tree skirt once, appliqued felt and lots of embroidery... but one of the last steps was to cut a hole in the middle. I couldn't make myself do it. So I have a lovely table topper and after 30 years of marriage still no tree skirt. Denise E.
